Question from Louise
08.06.2023
Sizing?

Can you explain what the two measurements under each size mean? For example 27,9/28,7 for size EU44. Is my foot measured 27.6cm, and I want about a cm of room between toe and inside tip of shoe, which size do I choose? What is the insole length measurement of a size please?

Hello Maggie,

As you can see in the size chart, the foot length describes the measure from the back of the heel to the tip of the big toe. Some manufacturers, like Ballop, give a range here because you have a little more room. With your foot length, size 43 is the best fit according to the manufacturer. If you want more space you have to try the size 44.

Best regards

Paul

It's the "range" that is confusing. Why not state the length of the shoe so buyer knows how much room they will get compared to the length of there foot. But alpinetrek do free returns so I'll just go ahead and order. Having a range is very confusing though. Thanks for your help!
