The Rescue Set Focus Voice Light from Ortovox is an avalanche beacon kit that enables the search for avalanche victims to be carried out professionally at top speed. It includes the Focus Voice avalanche beacon, the Probe Alu 240 and the Pro Light avalanche adze.
The Focus Voice avalanche beacon
The first component is the Focus Voice avalanche beacon, which enables unrivalled speed and efficiency in avalanche rescue. With its high performance, innovative professional features and patented safety technology, it is designed to meet the most demanding requirements. Its enormous scope and the intuitive overview provided by the 'Overview' and scrolling functions ensure maximum search speed.
In more complex scenarios, the search strip width can be reduced and various sound and speech modes can be activated. If you find yourself buried, the patented Smart Antenna technology and a standby mode with post-avalanche switching ensure a quicker and easier search. All in all, the Focus Voice sets the high-end standard amongst avalanche beacons!
The Probe 240
This very lightweight, compact yet powerful aluminium probe is the second item in the set. Thanks to a PFA quick-release system and the steel cable tensioning system, its 44 cm-long segments extend to their full length of 240 cm in a flash. This, together with practical features such as the visual guidance system, enables very quick and precise probing. All in all, the probe combines high effectiveness with minimal weight and pack size.
The Pro Light avalanche adze
This lightweight yet sturdy shovel, made from hardened and anodised aluminium, is the final item in the set. With its compact blade, sharp cutting edge and rescue sledge function, it clears snow away in no time. Further features include the non-slip tread grooves and the telescopic shaft with an oval cross-section and hybrid grip.
