A small pack size, light weight and the very best performance all in one jacket: the Women's Knife Edge Jacket from Marmot. This hardshell jacket is best suited for hiking, hill walking and trekking but can be used for high-altitude mountaineering projects as well. The material is extremely durable and waterproof. Plus, it's breathable as well, so moisture will be able to pass through to the outside, keeping you fresh and dry! If you get too hot, you can use the underarm ventilation zips to regulate the temperature. For protection in windy and rainy conditions, the jacket comes complete with a hood as well. This can be adjusted in such as way so that it'll stay put, even in strong winds. Speaking of adjustments, you can adjust the width of the bottom hem as well as the cuffs using the hook-and-loop fasteners. That way, you can seal out any cold wind or air. As for storage, the hardshell jacket is equipped with two pockets, each of which has a water-repellent zip closure for protection in wet conditions.Note: GORE-TEX Paclite products are not always rucksack compatible.
