The Carbon Probe 240 Light from Mammut is a very lightweight, intuitive avalanche probe. What makes it so light is the strong carbon material Mammut used. As for the tensioning system, the probe comes complete with a reliable telescopic locking system with an integrated tensioning cord made of durable material. The tip of the probe is drop-shaped to facilitate probing. A precise scale on both ends of the probe helps to determine the exact location.
