Dynafit isn't a common brand here in the UK, and I usually wear La Sportivas, but have been looking for the elusive shoe for longer distances (50 miles +) and back to back days of mixed terrain in the UK - mud/wet rock/hard trail/bog! and with a bit more cushioning. Having read some less than favourable reviews online I wasn't holding out much hope for these, but having given them a chance I'm really pleased and pleasantly surprised - and so I wanted to share that here to provide a positive review for others. The grip is great - even though the lugs aren't as deep as on other shoes, the Pomoco outsole provides excellent traction on rocky wet downhills and through mud. The cushioning is great for hard trail and stretches of road, and they feel agile and nimble on tricky ground. My foot feels secure in the shoe on uneven ground and my heel feels secure so my foot doesn't slide forwards in the shoe. I'm struggling to find anything bad to say about them actually and having worn La Sporitva Mutants for years, I think these are my new best friends!
