Excellent Trail/Fell running shoe. Ticks all the boxes I care about - good grip (biased toward mud and soft ground - but still excellent on hard surfaces, excellent traction running up hills and enables confident high speed descents), very comfartable (which surprised me as quite low profile) and very stable (I have weak ankles - so essential for me). Some people seem overly concerned about lack of water proofing - why? You don't really need water proofing unless you plan to run in snow in my opinion. If you do - get the GTX version - if not, keep your use of 'forever chemicals' down and get this version! Anyways - excellent fell running shoe - I will buy at least one more pair!
