Black Diamond - Circuit 2 Shoes - Casual shoes

This is an updated version of the Circuit 1 shoes, they have made noticeable changes, changing both the look and feel of the shoe. Firstly, instead of the plush cotton used in the previous version, a more durable material has been used, like a canvas-type material, so it is not as flexible but is certainly more durable and may help repel water and dirt more and help make the shoe last longer. These are also a bit heavier, due to the heavier duty material used,although still incredibly light. but this has helped make the foot feel a little more supported due to the material being more rigid, although still would not say they offer any great support. The other difference is these shoes are not made in one piece, like the 1st version, these are made in two pieces, the front toe section and the rest, which is stitched together. These shoes are also made slightly wider, to help fit a wider foot, the 1st version was known for fitting narrower feet, although I did not notice due to the material being so soft and flexible in the previous version. Overall, this version does look and feel like a better quality, hardier-wearing, shoe, but I liked the "just wearing a sock with a rubber sole" feel of the previous version, even though I was aware they might not be as long lasting as a result, but I can see that improvements have been made with new version and I like both versions and a big fan of these newer Circuit 2 shoes.

I have used these shoes extensively since getting them 7 weeks ago. They performed well on all kinds of activities from hiking in light snow, in slippery forest terrain and they are even great for base-jumping!
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a robust, light and comfortable pair of shoes that also looks great!
