A tent for gram counters

The Big Agnes Fly Creek series consists of lightweight and compact tents that are geared toward gram-counting minimalists. The low weight and small pack size of these tents make them great for long treks, cycling trips or even a spontaneous camping trip after work.

The Fly Creek HV UL2 is the ultra-light 2-man tent in the series and features high-volume architecture for steeper walls and thus more useable interior space. The vertical door construction adds additional volume to the vestibule as well, so you’ll have plenty of room to change clothes or for a card game on a rainy evening. The spacious vestibule has plenty of room for equipment, cooking utensils and the like. Plus, the dry entry vestibule keeps the tent’s interior dry as you go in and out of the tent.

As for the materials, Big Agnes made sure to keep things as light and functional as possible whilst retaining functionality. In doing so, they opted to use tough ripstop nylon for the fly and floor, adding both a silicone coating for UV resistance and durability as well as an additional PU coating for long-lasting waterproof protection in stormy and rainy weather. The poles are made of DAC Featherlite NFL aluminium, so they’re strong but remain nice and light.
