Great sleeping bag but do your research!

I bought this sleeping bag as a beginner into camping, finding this as the cheapest down sleeping bag I could find. The reviews online didn't do this sleeping bag justice as the branding can be misleading.

Positives:
- Super affordable for a sub-1kg sleeping bag
- Compressible and lightweight
- Wraps around your sleeping pad so you don't fall off or move around so much
- Has a pillow compartment so it doesn't move around at night
- Slept super comfortably down to 6C

Negatives:
- Though this is rated at 30F, this is indicated as a lower limit, not comfort - this wasn't very clear even on Big Agnes' website or any other online reviews but AlpineTrek made sure to include this
- Like a quilt, it doesn't have a back/insulated back, so this will have to be paired with a sleeping pad with an R-Value of at least 3

  • Advantages
    Full length zip
    Roomy
    Water repellent
    Price / performance
    Lightweight
    Easily compressed
  • Disadvantages
    No insulated back
Needs to be paired with pad
