Product description

Friend by Wild Country has been a part of the climbing kit for innumerable climbers for years. Some 38 years ago, the first Friend was developed and soon became an essential part of every climber's equipment. The Friend features durable, hot-forged lobes with a camming angle of 13.75 degrees (available in various sizes) for use in a wide range of cracks. Two hollow axles create the ideal combination of stability, rigidity and low weight. The outer side of the cam lobes ensures minimal wear to the rocks.

The smooth running trigger is easy and quick to use and the ergonomic shape of the grip cover ensures superior handling. The Dyneema Sling is 12mm in width and is not only extremely hard-wearing but also extendable. That means you won't have to carry a quickdraw for every Friend, which saves weight on your harness. Friend by Wild Country is a true classic and a must have for every trad climbing tour!
