Thanks to the tough, windproof and waterproof 3-layer laminate, there's no shortage of weather protection in this jacket. Plus, it comes complete with a helmet-compatible hood, adjustable cuffs and an easily adjustable hem for all-round protection from the elements. When the going gets tough or you're having to climb uphill in the sun, you can use the underarm zips to let some of that excess heat out. Both these and the two-way zip in the front are water-repellent. For freedom of movement, Vaude incorporated articulated elbows.
