Product description
High quality craftsmanship, great features and robust materials in a very stormproof and sturdy Powerframe construction: the Vaude Power Sphaerio 2P is a compact 2-man tent for expeditions and difficult adventures at high altitudes! With its small pack size and low weight, this dome tent is perfect as an ascent tent. Regardless of whether you're venturing out to the mountains in the summer or during a winter storm, you'll be able to rely on this 4-season tent! It boasts a very sturdy construction and high-quality materials. The tent is very easy to set up. All you have to do is attach the Powerframe clips to the relatively thick poles and that's it. You'll have pitched tent in no time at all, even if you have to set it up in inclement weather. The side tension loops are reinforced, so you could even use skis or an ice pick to secure the tent. Pretty good thinking! The floor and the outer tent are both reinforced with Ripstop and coated. The floor's PU coating and the fly's two-sided silicone coating result in a high hydrostatic head and serve to prevent the fabric from ageing prematurely as a result of exposure to UV rays. What's more, the experts at Vaude added a whole bunch of great features that you wouldn't notice at first glance. For example, they used an expandable thread, which swells as the humidity level increases, sealing the seam holes and thus rendering taped seams redundant. In addition, the tent is equipped with side ground ventilation, which will certainly be beneficial in a strong storm. And, of course, the all-season Vaude Power Sphaerio 2P boasts an optimal space-to-weight ratio and comes with a roomy vestibule for gear or cooking in bad weather! What else could you expect from a high-end expedition tent?
