The Kid’s Narvik Jacket XT down jacket from Trollkids keeps the kids warm in any cold situation, whether on the way to school or building an igloo in the snow! The jacket provides extra warmth thanks to the down feather filling, whose physical properties ensure the formation of air cushions that protect against the cold and have an insulating effect. The down is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard. The polyester outer material is particularly durable, waterproof, windproof and breathable. It prevents your child from getting cold and wet, stopping that dreaded wind chill effect. To prevent them from getting too warm in the jacket, the fabric is breathable, which ensures good temperature management.
Good cut, many practical details
The jacket is generously cut so that a thick wool jumper can fit underneath and still allow great freedom of movement. The jacket closes with a front zip and has a wide hood. The cuffs can be individually adjusted with a hook-and-loop closure. The waistband is also adjustable. One sleeve pocket and two zipped side pockets hold keys, mobile phone and more. This jacket is an all round great coat for snow and very cold weather. It's strong and takes rough treatment. I like how light it is yet warm and is a soft yet tough material. It has a fab hood with a skip at the front and the jacket closes very well to keep out snow and wind. Only slight issue is it's small made. I bought our 10 yr old the 152 (11/12yrs) and it will only do him this winter albeit a comfortable fit. Also it is quite tight at the hips and he is long and slim so I think this is a design issue. All in all I got a down filled, warm, waterproof and well made coat for our boy at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and would buy again, only be careful when sizing. He loves it by the way!
