As a professional Skipper using the hat while sailing. Even in winds over 20+ knots keeps the form and protects from sun and wind. If there is no sun and a bit fresh, it keeps the had protected from the wind chill. Not cheap but worth the investment.
I bought this hat years ago and use it frequently. It’s still as good as when I first got it. It’s very lightweight and comfortable to wear, while offering excellent sun protection. The strap makes it especially practical on windy days.
Very well designed. Holds good in wind, protects ears and neck. Lasts long. What else to wish.
