Product description
Durable, ankle-high walking boots for long distances with a leather upper
The Vectiv Exploris 2 Mid Futurelight of The North Face look pretty unimpressive if you consider the sheer amount of clever features they have. The Vectiv technology was developed to optimize the power transfer of every step you take. This technology combines an extremely aggressive SurfaceControl outsole with a super lightweight yet stabilizing foot plate and a cushioning EVA midsole with rocker construction. All of these factors together provide the best forward propulsion possible, while the ankle-high cut ensures additional foothold and protection.
Breathable, waterproof and reinforced in the right places
The upper was equipped with the proven waterproof FutureLight membrane that is also super breathable and quickly wicks away moisture and sweat to the outside to keep your feet dry and comfortable at all times. The heels and toes of the Vectiv Exploris 2 Mid Futurelight are reinforced to protect your feet from rocks or scree.

I do alot of long distance trekking on the Spannish Caminos and trekking in the mountains, very rugged terrain. This is my third pair of Vectis explorer. My first pair is still in good shape, l just keep on buying a new pair for each upcoming expedition for safety reasons. These boots have a very good traction, they are made of real leather so their waterproofing is very reliable when treated with a good wax. Very light weight: about 341grams each. Quite a few trekkers ask me questions about them so they clearly look like a good pair. My only negative comment is that in the last model the upper 4 noches for the laces are made of 2 eyelets and 2 hooks instead of 4 hooks as this can have a better ankle support and protection.
