The Summit Torre Egger Futurelight Jacket from The North Face is a technical jacket for alpine climbing and mountaineering. It’s both comfortable and breathable. The waterproof three-layer jacket is equipped with lighter inserts under the arms for ventilation. Plus, its slightly stretchy fabric makes it extremely suitable for alpine climbing. It allows you to reach up in any position. In addition, it features offset shoulder seams that prevent the backpack from rubbing against your shoulders.
Zips and other features
The YKK AquaGuard FLATKNIT zips used keep the jacket thin and mobile. Some other great features include the helmet-compatible and fully adjustable hood that won’t get in your way and stay where it is in windy weather and the high pockets that you can use also when wearing a climbing harness. The pockets are equipped with zips to keep your valuables safe and dry. The chest pocket has an internal material eyelet for extra safety. Both the sleeves and hem are adjustable, so you can adjust the jacket until you find a comfortable fit.
