Product description
Extraordinary mountain boots for alpine use on rocks and snow
The Summit Breithorn Futurelight from The North Face are the perfect boots for various alpine adventures! These boots are comparatively lightweight, yet sturdy and come with a number of interesting features. Their upper is made from extremely tough ripstop fabric, which makes the Summit Breithorn Futurelight hard-wearing. Plus, rubber trims on the edge, heel and as a toe cap also contribute to the protection of your feet, as well as to the durability of the boots. The Futurelight membrane ensures that the Summit Breithorn Futurelight are waterproof and windproof, yet also breathable, providing you with a pleasant foot climate. In addition, the collar is fibreglass-reinforced for extra stability and a secure hold, while a collar of stretch fabric at the top of this is designed to prevent stones and similar nuisances from getting in. The Vibram Litebase Mont outsole allows you to move securely and with good grip on difficult terrain, whether it’s rock or snow. Crampons can be fitted for even more extreme conditions. So mountaineers, what more could you want? The highlights at a glance
- Light, stable boots for alpine athletes
- Waterproof, windproof and breathable
- Crampon-compatible (semi-auto locking)

Are these shoes B1 or B2 rated? Also, what about crampon compatibility as I see it has a heel clip to accommodate C2 maybe?
