The North Face - 2-Meter Dome - Group tent

The 2-Meter Dome from The North Face is a group tent that can accommodate up to eight sleepy mountaineers. You can also use the tent as a lively common area at base camps during an expedition instead because it has enough room to eat, plan, meet and simply relax with your group. Not only is the tent large enough to comfortably lay down, but you can even stand up and stretch out thanks to its two-metre height.

The huge expedition tent is very lightweight for its size and can be dismantled and easily transported in individual parts. The tent’s geodesic construction is held up by durable, high-quality aluminium poles and can withstand up to force ten winds without getting damaged. Plus, both the fabric and floor are made of durable nylon that excellently protects against the rain, snow, moisture and humidity.

The yurt-style tent provides the wind with only little surface to attack and has steep outer walls that allows you to both access it comfortably and utilise your space. For an optimal air exchange, two entrances, windows for great ventilation and a wind-protected fireplace in the centre of the dome are featured.
