Whether you're on a mountain adventure or just going about your everyday life, the 1990 Mountain Jacket GTX from The North Face is tough enough to withstand even the heaviest of rains!This hardshell jacket comes equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane, making it not only completely windproof and waterproof but breathable as well. This along with the pit zips will keep your temperature nice balanced during those tougher stretches. As for the interior, the soft lining is made of brushed taffeta, providing plenty of warmth. The zipped hand pockets have been positioned in such a way as to be accessible when you're wearing a climbing harness. There are three inside pockets as well. The hood is attached and adjustable for an individualised fit and to prevent rain and wind penetrating into the jacket. The hem and cuffs can be adjusted as well. By the way, for some additional insulation, you can zip compatible inner jackets into the 1990 Mountain Jacket GTX as well!
