Simond - Headlamp UL500 - Head torch

Compact lighting for life outdoors

Small and light at around 42 g, the Headlamp UL500 from SIMOND is easy to take on any trip. Its wide, 150-lumen beam provides good illumination up to around 30 m away – ideal for short walks after dark, bivouacking or a quick check around the tent. This is a deliberately no-frills head torch, delivering straightforward performance for everyday outdoor situations. A particularly handy feature is the dimming function, which lets you adjust the brightness smoothly from around 10 to 150 lumens.

Reliable performance in wet weather

With an IPX4 splash-resistance rating, the UL500 remains reliable when conditions turn wet or humid, so a passing shower needn’t be a worry. As the battery runs low, the automatic reserve mode gives you roughly another hour of light at around 30 lumens. It’s a small but important safety feature when you can’t recharge straight away.

Easy to use and adjust

USB-C charging makes topping up the UL500 simple, even on the go with a power bank or solar panel. The switch on top is easy to reach and operate, even with gloves on, while the lock function prevents the torch from switching on accidentally in your rucksack. The adjustable headband fits comfortably and can even be worn over a climbing or ski helmet. The result is a practical head torch that adapts to different situations and reliably gets the job done.
