Product description
Comfortable climbing shoes for longer climbs
The Women's Generator V from Scarpa are women's climbing shoes that are perfect for longer climbs and traditional climbing. They offer a good balance between performance and comfort, making them ideal for more advanced climbers looking for shoes for multi-pitch climbing.
Construction
The shoes have a slight downturn and a slight pre-tensioning. They also have a medium-high toe profile. Thanks to this design, they offer a high level of comfort even after several hours of wear. Another great feature includes the tensioned elasticated band in the arch and forefoot, called the V-Tension System, which transfers the force to the toe area to ensure a good foot positioning on small footholds. This, along with the relatively hard Vibram XS Edge 4mm sole rubber relieves pressure on the foot and ensures precision and edge stability.
Fit
The fit of these shoes is best for medium feet. However, you can easily adjust the width or tightness of the shoe using the two hook-and-loop fasteners. Scarpa recommends these shoes for people with Greek-shaped feet. This means that the second toe is larger than the big toe.
Conclusion
All in all, the Women's Generator V are well-balanced climbing shoes for long days on the rock, offering good edge stability and comfort. They are therefore best suited for intermediate climbers.
