Great shoe, questionable name

Been running in the Spin Ultra 2 for a while now and genuinely enjoy them. The fit is snug and secure, the outsole grips well on mixed terrain, and there's a solid amount of stability underfoot for a shoe this light.

That said, I think the name Ultra is a stretch. These are a great mid-distance racing shoe: think 50k, maybe up to 80k. For skyrunning, marathon distance or shorter ultras, they're excellent. If you're toeing the line at a 100k or miler, I'd look elsewhere.
