Product description
Experience dry feet in any weather
The Mustang TRK GTX walking boots from Scarpa combine innovative GORE-TEX ePE technology with a tough mix of leather and synthetic materials. Thanks to a durably waterproof and breathable membrane, your feet stay pleasantly dry on long hikes through wet meadows or when the weather suddenly turns. Its microporous structure ensures that moisture is reliably wicked away to the outside - so you can enjoy a balanced climate for your feet, no matter how varied your hike is.
Tread safely on any surface
In addition, the Vibram outsole impresses with its sophisticated tread and special rubber compound that gives you a secure grip on any surface. Meanwhile, the reinforced heel and toes offer extra protection against stones and roots. As a result, you can concentrate fully on your hike without having to worry about the longevity of your footwear - even if the path should get steeper or more slippery.
Feel comfort with every step
With their 2-zone lacing, you can adjust the Mustang TRK GTX precisely to your needs. The removable insole provides further comfort and can be replaced, if needed. Pull-on loops make it easier to put the boots back on, especially when stopping frequently. Lastly, the moderate weight of around 1.2 kg per pair ensures that you are still relaxed even after many miles - perfect for varied day hikes.
Key benefits:
- GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry
- Vibram sole offers secure grip
- Reinforced toe and heel protection
- Customisable fit thanks to 2-zone lacing
- Removable insole offers greater comfort

What do you think about that?
This is what other customers say:
Bought these boots expecting Scarpa's usual high quality, but they broke on day one. One of the orange metal speed lace hooks completely snapped off while lacing them up. Looking at other recent reviews, this is clearly a widespread batch flaw the metal used for these hooks simply cannot take standard lacing tension. It’s extremely disappointing for a boot at this price point. The boot upper and fit feel comfortable

Disadvantages
Not robust defective item
The product was defective, the outer lace fasteners broke off when trying on the boots.
Two stars because the boots were very comfortable to wear.
It's a shame, apparently Scarpa is losing its reputation for quality.
