The durable upper is made of high-quality suede, which has natural water-repellent properties in addition to its high durability. On the inside, Scarpa used the proven GORE-TEX membrane to make the shoes absolutely waterproof, while at the same time ensuring breathability.

The clever Salix sole construction and comfortable EVA midsole with great cushioning ensure comfort all day long. Bit of a tight fit despite being a size 48 which normally works for me. Lacing is a problem - with no loops to pass laces through making it tight to remove the boot and open up. Good sole and suede upper. With the present system you have to poke the laces through tight holes in the uppers.

I already had a pair and love them so was disappointed to find the new pair in Titanium/Mustard are grey. The images on the website show a natural/buff colour like my existing pair. New colour is not as good IMO
