Scarpa - Mojito - Casual shoes tested

These shoes do the business over rough terrain but also look great for an arty look in general use. They hold the foot brilliantly and feel comfortable even after long hours of use. Still looking good after a year.

There is nothing wrong with these shoes, as such. They are exactly 'as shown on the tin'.
However, once they arrived I found that I didn't find them aesthetically pleasing. I don't like the extent of the shoe laces, i.e., right down to the end of the shoe. This is clear in the photos, but I suppose I just didn't pay enough attention.
My only real, non-subjective, gripe is the lack of cushioning in the sole. I went for a one hour walk yesterday on packed earth and gravel. One hour was enough. I wouldn't want to go for a longer walk.
Final verdict: fine for looking cool around town, but not for any serious perambulating.

As a fervent walker these are my shoes of choice for comfort, style and robust design. Love the eclectic colour choices and aiming to have at least four .

These are really good shoes. I have bought and worn them over many years and keep renewing them . I wear them all the time and they usually last a couple of years .

I have had many pairs of scarpa shoes and have always been delighted with them. Unfortunately this is something I cannot say about Scarpa Mojitos. They are not in the slightest bit waterproof , even a small bit of wet grass soaks straight through the shoe wetting your feet. I have only worn them twice and on both occasions my socks have turned pink due to the dye leeching from the shoe. The white laces have also turned a mottled pink colour too. They are useless for the British weather as you can never guarantee every time you go out that it won’t rain. Even the most non waterproof shoes I have had in the past are better than these!! Save your money buy something else.

I have worn these on longish treks to crags, they are ok but the lacing being over the toes at the toe end makes them a little uncomfortable as the sole is quite rigid and doesn't flex much so puts pressure on the top of your toes

These are my sixth pair of Scarpa Mojito (yes, really!!) they are so brilliant. AlpineTrek stick in a great range of colours and good discount offers. What's not to like?!

I love this shoe! I wear it all the time! I have been wearing it a year or so. I use it mostly for urban walking. It’s a shame that it’s only showerproof, not fully waterproof, but that’s not been a problem, they are otherwise so comfortable. They are definitely my go to shoe!

These are a PERFECT fit for me, plus I love the colour. They were on sale, so the price was right too. Very pleased with how well they’re performing.

Super comfortable for summer hiking… and looks great

These are great all purpose shoes. Worn daily for work, casual and as an approach shoe. The lacing to the toe, gives a great fit. Good grip, all day comfort and an amazing choice of colours.

I find these very comfortable. The area for your foot is quite wide so it lets your toes spread naturally.

Just ordered a second pair as super comfy and stable for my feet

I have been wearing these shoes for several years, sadly the sole on my everyday pair has now worn out, I wear them every weekday for work, they are comfortable and support my feet, my feet are fussy and need support on the heel and the arch, these shoes are perfect and very well made, great for walking in too, they have good grip and the rubber on the toe gives a bit of protection.

Excellent shoes. The lacing system leads to exceptional foot stability and comfort. The fact that I'm on my fourth pair really says it all

But the colour is not as bright as pictured here.

Very pleased with them a year after buying them.

Very nice on easy going walks. Outlasted cheaper shoes many times over. Some wear near ankle, top edge inner outer joint. Still good for another 1k miles.

I have just ordered another pair of Scarpa mojito shoes. They are the best casual shoes I have ever had. Brilliantly comfortable and stylish and they come in a wide range of sizes including half sizes so the fit is fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend.

Recently fractured my foot went to minor injury they offered me a boot then looked at my scarpa mantas and said they looked a very supportive shoe and that they would be perfect. Best shoes ever fit like a glove I have 4 pairs. Heather
