There was a minor fault on the tongue but, I'm returning and have ordered another pair in the same size...hoping for the same fit for my wide 3e feet and problem joints.

I'm slightly over a 7.5 on one foot and slightly under 7.5 on the other. Would I get away with a 7.5 or should I choose an 8?
Hi Steven, Cases like yours are never easy and the only way to know how these will fit will be to try on. Sizing from Scarpa is quite accurate and I would be inclined to go up to a size 42 if one foot is more than a 41.5. You can improve the fit with your smaller foot by adding a thicker footbed, for example.
