Product description
When it comes to climbing and bouldering, the Scarpa booster is a must. These climbing shoes are suitable for both dynamic competition climbing and athletic rock climbing and their special design provides maximum performance. Notable feature: The shoes allow for absolutely sensitive climbing, but also provide optimised support, making it much easier to stand on small ledges and edges.
The upper is made of a synthetic material blend and encloses the foot with precision and comfort. Heavily stressed areas such as the toe and heel area have been additionally reinforced and treated with a non-slip rubber compound. This means that the safe placement of toe and foot hooks is no problem. A look at the sole shows that everything has been done to achieve maximum performance. So it is no surprise that the rubber compound has excellent grip properties. The Dual Tension System also ensures the targeted transfer of power to the big toe, which in turn allows the feet to be positioned precisely. The midsole provides increased stability in the forefoot area, while allowing for balanced flexibility in the heel area.

Had to return every pair of this shoe that I tried. I wear street size 46 and currently climb on a pair of 43.5 Scarpa Reflex, but when I tried the Boosters in the 43.5, 44.5 and even the 45, the big toe had room to move, but the aggressive "Egyptian" shape toe box crushed my 2nd and middle toes into the toe patch, causing too much pain to even stand on them.
Unfortunately 45 is as big as these get, so avoid unless you have an "Egyptian" foot shape. Aside from this they felt great, nice "rubber sock" feel around the foot and tight suction on the heel. good quality construction as to be expected from Scarpa.
