The Pioneer 3 Mips from Salomon is a versatile ski helmet for anyone skiing or snowboarding who values reliable protection and a comfortable fit. The in-mould construction, featuring a polycarbonate outer shell and EPS foam, keeps the helmet pleasantly light, meaning that at just 440 g in a medium size, it’s hardly a burden.
The helmet is also fitted with MIPS Technology. This design has been developed to reduce rotational forces caused by oblique impacts, further enhancing protection.
Comfort that lasts all day
Ventilation openings promote pleasant air circulation, ensuring you don’t get too hot under the helmet whilst enjoying winter sports. The breathable fabric also helps maintain a comfortable climate when skiers and snowboarders are out in the snow for long periods.
For a good fit, the helmet can be adjusted quickly and easily using the twist lock. The removable, washable lining makes it particularly easy to look after. Ear flaps provide extra comfort, and the goggle strap holder keeps your ski goggles securely in place.
