Product description
Clever performance on the approach with the Wildfire Edge GTX from Salewa
These approach shoes feature an upper made from suede leather and durable textile, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane and a 3D EXA-Shell reinforced collar. The 3F three-zone lacing extends to the forefoot and provides customised support for maximum precision when setting off. In addition, the Switchfit system allows the laces to be pulled back via an eyelet if needed, pushing the feet forward into the toe caps for improved climbing performance. They are also equipped with an adjustable MFF+ footbed and an EVA midsole for pleasant cushioning and walking comfort.
High-traction sole for optimal grip on rocky surfaces
The Pomacca Speed Mtn outsole ensures a firm grip on rocky surfaces, mud, grass or asphalt. Inside the climbing zone, there is a plate called an edging plate, which provides stiffening and thus reliable handling on easy climbing passages without affecting the rolling behaviour of the rest of the sole.
The highlights at a glance:
- Comfortable and durable approach shoes
- Abrasion-resistant upper material
- Integrated GORE-TEX membrane
- Cushioning midsole construction
- High-traction Pomacca Speed Mtn outsole
