Product description
Mixed alpine terrain is where the Salewa Rapace GTX mountaineering boots call home. The Rapace are perfect for rocky and technical mountaineering routes. Thanks to its stiff sole, the boot provides optimal stability and clearly shows that this boot has got nothing to hide when it comes to climbing. The special lacing system in the front allows the shoe to be adjusted for an individualised fit from heel to toe. The Vibram sole on the Rapace GTX mountaineering boot will provide optimal traction on various surfaces. Plus, the integrated Bilight midsole construction makes for a very tough and durable boot. The ergonomic shape of the midsole will provide optimal cushioning even on steeper climbs. What's more, the boot boasts a 360-degree full rubber rand to protect the high-quality 1.8mm nubuck leather. For the much-needed comfort and flexibility at the ankle, the Rapace mountaineering boot is equipped with the Flex Collar system as well. The integrated GORE-TEX membrane serves to protect your foot in wet conditions. Even high-altitude mountaineering adventures shouldn't be a problem for the Rapace GTX, as it is crampon compatible too! An extremely tough travel buddy for tackling any terrain: the Rapace GTX mountaineering boots.
