The Ortles Hybrid TWR Jacket by Salewa is a versatile mountain jacket for all seasons. This multifunctional hybrid jacket effectively protects you from the elements while being super comfortable. It is the perfect compromise between a softshell jacket and a hardshell jacket. Because it is windproof and waterproof, breathable and compactly stowable, this jacket is a reliable companion on mountain and ski tours. Its bluesign-certified ripstop nylon fabric is complemented by Durastretch Wool inserts, a Tirol Wool Responsive fill and a fine nylon Downproof lining. Plus, this jacket was additionally treated with a PFC-free DWR finish that completes this refined, highly efficient combination.

The construction of the Ortles Hybrid TWR follows the body mapping principle to provide maximum functionality at a minimum weight and pack size. In addition, this leaves room for rich comfort features such as the adjustable hood, numerous zipped pockets, elastic cuffs and the elastic hem. The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa with regard to environmental and social responsibility. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria and at least one additional criterion.

The mandatory criteria include: 1. Chemicals verified: more than 90% of the product weight meets at least one of the following criteria: a) the main fabric (for the entire product) has been chemically tested according to Oberalp's chemical guideline or b) the main fabric is bluesign-certified. 2. Factory monitored for social standards: the second obligatory criterion is that the factory where the product has been manufactured has been audited for social standards and working conditions by external audits.

The additional criteria, depending on the product, include upcycling, recycling, certain material compositions, PFC-free coatings or responsibly sourced down.
