Product description
The Fanes Wool PTX Jacket from Salewa will reliably protect you against the elements whilst mountaineering, hill walking and trekking! Featuring a high-performing Powertex fabric with wool, this triple-layer laminate with a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm is super waterproof, windproof and breathable, it’ll keep you toasty warm and feel wonderfully soft on the inside. Plus, the PFC-free DWR finish along with the welded seams provide additional moisture protection even when it’s bucketing down. Some other great features include an adjustable, lined hood that’ll keep your head dry and warm, a waistband that can be adjusted with one hand, cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners and two zipped pockets along with an elastic inner mesh pocket for stowing away your valuables.

Pretty solid 3l jacket. Haven't gotten the chance to test it in a downpour but so far seems at least as waterproof as my Marmot Minimalist despite of using Powertex instead of Goretex, but with the added benefit of being a lot less plasticky and clammy when weraing only a t-shirt under it. The MSRP is ridiclous but the discounted price here is a out right - actually pretty decent gicen that it's 3-layer
