Product description
The Ergo Belay System is an intuitive belay device for sports climbing outdoors and in a hall. Its ergonomic shape ensures that the braking hand will under no circumstances need to be taken off the rope. A clear plus for safety!
The device's blocking function springs into action even with gentle tugging, and the rope is blocked independently from your manual force - but it can still be released when necessary. The Ergo Belay System is optimized for sports climbing and therefore designed to quickly feed the rope through without any accidental blocking or catching. You will never have to cross over your arms, the braking arm always stays on the rope and it can be quickly fed in and out.
The belay device is suitable for beginners and pros, but you should of course always practice using the Salewa Ergo Belay System before using it.
