Product description
A lightweight waterproof jacket for hill walking
With the Women's Downpour Plus 2.0 Jacket from Rab, you’ll be optimally equipped for hill walking in bad weather conditions. Let’s get straight into its practical features: the lightweight waterproof jacket has a helmet-compatible hood with an integrated brim to keep the rain at bay and two drawstrings on the front and back to adjust the hood’s fit. Plus, equipped with articulated sleeves, you’ll have a full range of motion at all times.
Compact for easy transport
When not in use, you can put it in its own pocket and place it into your backpack. Now, let’s take a look at the material: it’s made of Pertex Shield, which is a 2.5-layer functional fabric that’s breathable, windproof and waterproof. The additional PFC-free DWR finish prevents the outer from absorbing moisture. The Rab Women's Downpour Plus 2.0 Jacket is completed by adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners on the sleeves and a drawcord hem that ensure a comfortable fit.
The highlights at a glance:
- A lightweight, compact waterproof jacket
- The Pertex Shield functional fabric has a membrane that’ll keep the wind and rain at bay

Good and lightweight for the price. Good for short downpours but wouldn't want to be out for extended time. Tore easily on rock unfortunately not robust enough for me as one slide over rounded rock produced several tears.
