Product description
A highly versatile piece of equipment for mountaineers - the Williams Screw-Lock by Petzl. The design of this locking carabiner is characterised by its HMS-shape. It is best suited to being secured with a Munter hitch but can also be used in combination with belay devices. Of course, you can also set up belay points with the carabiner. The low weight and high stability of the William Screw-Lock is owed to its special hot-forged design. The less exposed parts of the carabiner are held relatively thin. On the other hand, those areas under permanent stress as well as the contact points to the rope are thicker and somewhat wider. Moreover, the key lock nose keeps the carabiner from getting tangled up in hook eyelets and slings. As you can see, Petzl pays attention to detail!
