Product description
Redundancy is always a good thing in mountain sports. With the Shunt ascender, Petzl has created a back-up ascender that replaces friction hitches like the Prusik. It is used below your rappel device and works with both single ropes and half ropes up to 11mm. The Shunt is made of lightweight aluminium.
