Compact and gentle on the rope
If you would like to take a carabiner on your next multi-pitch, alpine or ski tour that is suitable for belaying with an HMS knot, then the Attache screwgate carabiner from Petzl is the way to go. The round cross-section makes it easier for the rope to pass through, protecting your ropes from excessive wear.
Safe and easy to handle
The visual indicator shows you a signal colour if you haven't screwed the carabiner shut yet. The screw cap is easy to operate with one hand, even when wearing gloves. Plus, the keylock nose prevents the carabiner from tangling when clipped on or off.

This carabiner has a very quick and easy opening action as well as plenty of room for connecting ropes/belay device in and out. Its also very light and has a clever system for clearly showing when the carabiner is not locked. Brilliant product.
