Product description
Windproof, insulating, and water-repellent
The Micro Puff Hoody from Patagonia is perfectly suited for adventures in cold conditions, provided it isn't bucketing down with rain! Although in this regard, the Micro Puff Hoody scores points with its synthetic PlumaFill insulation made from recycled polyester. This is because the synthetic insulation is impervious to moisture and is also quick-drying, meaning it can comfortably deal with a little precipitation. Because it is, first of all, insulated, and secondly windproof, with this jacket you are sure to keep nice and warm, even when the temperatures hit rock bottom and the cold wind is blowing: the PlumaFill synthetic fibres are almost as soft and warm as real down! And to ensure that no cold draughts make it inside, the front zip has a wind strip, and both cuffs and the hem have elastic trims to ensure optimal fit and windproofing. One of the two zipped front pockets is also used as a pack bag for the jacket, which again demonstrates its extremely small packed dimensions. Because it is, on the whole, so light and slim, the hood can also be comfortably worn underneath a climbing helmet for example, to keep your head nice and warm.
