Having used the Exos 48 for a few years I find the Talon 55 a better fit and offers better back support. Granted it may be warmer in the hotter months as it does not have as much ventilation as the Exos. The side pockets on the Exos 48 are bigger but the water bladder is better thought out on the Talon 55. It is about 250g heaver but I think the wider shoulder straps and hip belt are better padded so weight can be carried easier.
