Product description
Durable companion for the most challenging climbing routes
The Pala Hooded Jacket from Ortovox is the perfect partner for long, alpine routes on rugged crags! This jacket features an extremely abrasion-resistant Merino Shield Tec material that passes more than 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, the standard procedure used to test wear resistance. With this property, it defies any rock face, no matter how rough. Additional reinforcements are used in high-wear areas such as the shoulders, forearms and hips. Nevertheless, the Pala Hooded Jacket is a comfortable softshell jacket that guarantees complete freedom of movement thanks to its 4-way stretch material, alongside its athletic cut and articulated elbows.
Special construction and design features
Thanks to its membrane-free construction, fine merino wool lining and merino mesh panels in the collar and waistband, this jacket is especially breathable and extremely comfortable to wear. Plus, the cuffs and the adjustable hem are both elasticated to ensure you the perfect fit, even when performing athletic manoeuvres.
The highlights at a glance:
- Maximum durability, yet excellent mobility
- Impressive features and details
- Sustainable wool and PFC-free manufacturing
