The Ortler GORE-TEX Jacket from Ortovox is a hardshell waterproof jacket designed for alpine use. It is ideal for alpine climbing and high-altitude mountaineering, and with its weatherproof design, it is perfectly suitable for situations where a functional waterproof jacket is essential.
Stays dry while allowing air to circulate
The GORE-TEX membrane makes the jacket waterproof, windproof and breathable. In addition, it features a high hydrostatic head of 28,000 millimetres, which further enhances its weather protection. When things get more strenuous, underarm zips provide additional ventilation and a rapid exchange of air.
Lightweight jacket with great details
The adjustable, helmet-compatible hood fits perfectly even during alpine use. A drawstring hem and hook-and-loop fasteners on the sleeves ensure a customisable fit, while pre-moulded sleeves promote freedom of movement. There are also two zipped front pockets and a zipped chest pocket for practical storage. Weighing around 335 grams, the jacket is pleasantly light.
