Product description
Thermal performance in adverse conditions
The DownWool 270 Jacket from Ortovox is a well thought-out choice for all those who are out and about in frosty temperatures, both on and off the piste. The fill is made from DownWool by Grüezi bag to provide particularly effective insulation that reliably keeps you warm even when damp. Plus, the jacket offers a remarkably good weight to warmth ratio without being too bulky or restricting your freedom of movement.
Protection and comfort on the move
In addition, the outer material made from Pertex Quantum Pro is not only windproof and water-repellent, but also extremely abrasion-resistant. At the same time, it remains breathable, which is particularly important during physical activity. Meanwhile, the helmet-compatible hood with a concealed 2-in-1 adjustment mechanism, the high collar and the soft inserts at the chin provide further comfort. Particularly clever are the wool padding inserts at the sides and under the arms that ensure full freedom of movement.
Practical features
Two large front pockets with a soft lining provide space for cold hands or small items of equipment. Meanwhile, the chest pocket is ideal for your smartphone or valuables. A coated 2-way zip, elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem provide a customised fit to prevent the cold from penetrating. Last but not least, the loose cut offers you plenty of space for layering without the jacket losing any of its functionality.

- DownWool by Grüezi bag keeps you reliably warm even in damp conditions
