For emergency or planned bivouacking: the Ortovox Bivy Pro for 1-2 people will give you some extra safety in the mountains! The tough bright material is windproof and has a PU coating on the outside for dirt and water repellence. The silver coating on the inside serves to reflect body heat and prevents your body freezing. If the weather suddenly changes or you get injured and you're forced to sleep in the mountains, this could be life-saving! Thanks to the loops on the side, the bivvy can be used to block the sun, as a place to sit or to transport an injured party. Plus, it comes complete with a compressible stuff sack.
