Product description
The Pearl LU from Ocun has been a legendary shoe for years now, not least because it was worn by the two-time winner of the World Championship and winner of the World Cup. Rock climbing is where this shoe really shines.
This climbing shoe comes equipped with a very precise lacing system and a radical curvature with an aggressive downturn, concave shape and moderate asymmetry. The shoe is designed for average toe types (Egyptian and Greek), which is something you'll appreciate more at the crag than you will at a climbing centre.
With its 2D Fit Soft midsole, rubber and excellent power transfer, the Pearl offers the perfect combination of firmness and sensitivity for the smallest holds. As for the sole, Ocun used CAT Rubber 1.5 compound, which was designed specifically for climbing at a high level and is considered to be super sticky.
Obviously, you won't automatically climb better with the Pearl from Ocun on your feet, but it's a great study buddy!

I've been using these for about 12 months now (2 times per week during 2-4h sessions in bouldering hall) and i can only say good things about them.
After trying a few different makes and models I came across Ocun Pearl LU and oh my!! They fit like a glove (this is only my personal opinion as feet shapes vary), superb grip (far better than 5-10's Stealth).
They still look like new, barely any sign of wear. It took about two weeks for my feet to bead in, but I guess that's normal. Ridiculously low price for the quality. Would definitely buy again!
