Product description

The Ocun Crest LU is often wrongly underestimated at first glance. True, it was built on a standard last without much asymmetry or heel tension. But, it is indeed as comfortable as it looks and thus perfect for all sorts of climbers, including beginners, fans of climbing gardens, alpine climbers, multi-pitch, etc.

Despite how comfortable it is, the Crest LU is bound to surprise you with how precise it is and how much power you'll get through the toe. This is primarily due to the stiffness of the shoe as a result of the hard 2D midsole that serves to improve precisely that power mentioned previously. The slightly tensioned heel helps here as well. It'll also stop you getting fatigued as quickly on those long alpine routes. And, the shoe has better torsional stiffness as well.

Of course, we can't forget about the outsole! The Cat Rubber 1.1 used for this shoe belongs to the category of High Friction Rubber and has high abrasion resistance. Even if you don't really consider yourself a beginner anymore and prefer a shoe with a lot of heel tension for sport climbing routes, you'll get a lot of joy out of the Crest LU on alpine routes!
