Product description
Waterproof boots for technical hikes and trail runs in alpine terrain
Developed with trail runner and mountain runner Kilian Jornet, the Tomir Boot Waterproof from NNormal is perfect for technical hikes, speed hiking and challenging trail runs in the mountains. In addition to the excellent ankle support, foot comfort and maximum waterproof protection, the boots also have a non-slip tread. They’re made with as little material as possible and have a waterproof membrane that keeps your feet dry in wet conditions.
Vibram Megagrip sole and cushioning EVA midsole
The rubber compound was developed for outdoor use to provide excellent traction on a wide variety of surfaces. Thanks to its great composition, the Vibram Megagrip sole offers exceptional traction on wet and dry surfaces, including rocks, mud and tarmac. The reliable tread therefore keeps you safe on rough terrain. In addition, the cushioning midsole keeps your feet comfortable on long runs, and the support means you won't get tired as quickly.
Asymmetrical lacing for more comfort
Another great feature includes the asymmetrical lacing that avoids pressure points and chafing. The boots will also sit perfectly on your feet.
The features at a glance:
- Versatile, lightweight and abrasion-resistant trail running shoes for alpine terrain
- Waterproof membrane for protection against moisture
- Non-slip Vibram Megagrip sole for demanding terrain

I'm a size 37. Although Bergfreunde.eu recommended I get a size 39, I chatted with Nnormal's support on their website. They told me the boots were true to size and recommended I get a size 38, which I did.
The truth is they run small. The size 38 is actually a size 37. The biggest problem is they are extremely narrow. I don't have wide feet, but it was painful for me to try them on. Even if I got a size 39, I still wouldn't feel comfortable in them because of this.
Otherwise, they look great and are very lightweight.
