Ultralight 3-person tent for trekking and bikepacking
The Mayfly Osmo 3P from Nemo is designed as a 3-person tent. It offers 223 x 157 cm of space for resting and sleeping. Hikers and bikepackers who need a little more space or are travelling with more luggage can use the ultralight tent as a 2-person tent. With a net weight of just 1.63 kg, it’s still lighter than most two-person tents.
Weatherproof trekking tent with aluminium poles
The Mayfly Osmo 3P from Nemo is equipped with a lightweight aluminium frame. The 9.0mm and 9.5mm diameter tent poles are only connected to the ground at three points and are stabilised by crossbars. The tent walls are also pleasantly steep, making the most of the floor space.
In addition, the tent has an OSMO flysheet that protects against the rain and moisture thanks to its hydrostatic head of 1,500 mm. It also has a PU-coated 68D polyester ripstop groundsheet with a hydrostatic head of 2,000 mm. When travelling in particularly wet areas or on very stony ground, Nemo recommends the use of the separately available Mayfly Osmo 3P groundsheet. The tent has two entrances, each with a vestibule. Each vestibule is 71 cm deep, so you can stow plenty of luggage in there. The tent can be stowed away in the included roll-up storage bag to save space.
