The Astro from Nemo is a comfortable sleeping mat for camping and backpacking in summer. It provides good insulation and has great features that will make your camping experience more enjoyable.
Have a good night’s sleep
It’s made of a super robust, recycled and bluesign-certified polyester outer. Plus, it features a lateral baffle construction that provides comfort whilst laying down and a Pillow Baffle that’s slightly elevated to act like a pillow. It has an R-value of 1.5, which means it offers good insulation in summer and on mild spring nights.
Another great feature includes the flat Laylow valve that allows air to flow in and out quickly. The included Vortex pump bag lets you inflate it quickly without having to use your lungs and minimises moisture. If you want to feel comfortable whilst camping, backpacking or at a festival, then you should take a closer look at the Astro.

Camping Trekking Beginner Travel
I just came home from a camping trip, it was quite warm at night so I insulation was not really a concern.
I took the Nemo Astro sleeping pad and it was perfect for me.
I am a side sleeper and the cushioning and thickness of the pad was really good.
It was easy to inflate with the provided pump sack and easy to pack.
I will definitely bring this to my camping trips next summer!
