Product description
Safe on alpine terrain - with the Wall Alpine Belay by Mammut. The belay device operates in accordance with the Tube principle. Therefore, it can be used to secure one lead climber or to belay one or two second climbers on the belay point. The fourth, smaller whole below the rope duct allows releasing the rope blockage (if a second climber should fall into the rope). The braking grooves in the rope ducts increase the system friction, reducing the physical effort that is needed to hold a fall. Das Wall Alpine Belay eignet sich zum Belay mit Single ropes, Half ropes und Twin ropes mit einem Diameter von 7.5 bis 10.5 mm.
