In my completely unbiased opinion on Mammut, I can only say that the jacket is great! The inner mesh lining makes it comfortable to wear, even without a midlayer. I will be using it as an urban jacket and ocasionally for some light hiking, keeping another more robost one for trekking and mountaineering. The reason for this are the non-waterproof pocket zippers, though if you wanted, you could definitely use this one for that as well.
